Investing in the future

Owning global modules, utilities, helpers, and more while supporting the plethora of application teams became my primary role while working at the bank. This involved supporting monthly releases in an agile work flow solving bugs, creating new components, and providing WCAG 2.1 guidance.

Project Role:Front-end developer

One of the biggest opportunities working with a fortune 500 company is the size and number of teams to work with. My core responsibility involved building a global styleguide for our internal application teams which grew into an entire front-end framework involving the dynamic creation of components, modules, utilities, helpers, and much much more.

Dropping frameworks into frameworks

Supporting a team onboarding to our Online-Banking platform by helping to create a search widget that introduced a card and flyout search suggestions. Once a search is queried the results get passed through a pagination utility.

Keeping tabs on ADA

In order to make a tab system ADA 2.1 compliant I created a system of buttons that could be dragged or tabbed through. Keyboard controls would automatically slide the next item into view and quick controls allowed for browser-width scrolling.

Responsive emails

Every front-end developer's worst nightmare

Over 150 different emails are quickly generated with a Gulp.js script by taking an array of brand names and concatenating them with a header, body, and footer file. Each email used a table layout with hooks that allowed for fast cross-email testing

Online Banking support

Working in a custom framework with both local and world-wide talent to produce re-usable consumable components.

WCAG 2.1 Expertise

While not only improving semantic markup, incorporating WCAG guidelines enables components to reach a wider audience.

Wealth Management support

A responsive styleguide helped breathe new life into an outdated visual presence. Users are provided with a modern experience.
